When you go through the order process at www.nmu.edu/ean, and put in your payment information, you should be brought to a page that confirms your order has been placed and is currently being processed. If you are brought back to a payment confirmation page with our terms of use, an error has occurred and your payment did not go through. There are 3 main reasons for this error:
- Please ensure the billing information provided matches the billing information tied to the credit or debit card used in the payment. The form on the billing page auto-fills your billing address with the service address you entered in the ordering process. Double-check that the billing address entered on the page matches the address your banking institution has on file for the card you are using to make the payment.
- Accepted card forms are VISA, DISCOVER, and MASTERCARD. If you are using a different type of card (for example, American Express), the payment will not go through.
- The card that you used did not have sufficient funds available for the purchase, or you are utilizing a pre-paid card that does not have a billing address associated with the card. In this case, you may have to use another card.
Unfortunately, we have no other way to process payments for your orders at this time and all payments need to go through this online portal.
