Many customers are concerned about overloaded towers and it affecting their internet speeds. Know that each LTE site is designed and maintained to handle hundreds of customers on at one time without issues.
Most speed-related issues are attributed to your signal strength (instructions on finding your signal strength can be found on page 4 of your devices setup guide). If your signal levels are not in our recommended good range of the signal, your device will not be able to send or receive data efficiently which causes slow or intermittent speed issues. Our LTE towers try to compensate for low signal by sending your device additional resources, but these extra resources are not always available. Having your device meet the recommended signal levels will help guarantee good reliable internet and allow our towers to give your device the pre-allocated resources for a strong connection.
