Question
Are you comparable to major local internet service providers? What kind of speed can I expect?
Answer
The Educational Access Network's objective is accessibility and affordability for education. While you are able to do your homework, research, check email, and stream video, the EAN is not designated as a competitor to major Internet Service Providers.
If you are looking for internet that can handle many devices streaming High Definition content, low latency online gaming, consistent high-speed access, and guaranteed up times for business, the EAN is not for you.
The Educational Access Network speed ranges based on the package you have. You can expect speeds up to 25Mb/s for the fastest connection. Since we are utilizing cellular LTE technology, your experience may vary based on a number of variables (such as distance from the tower, interference between your antenna and the cell tower, devices connected to your network, your equipment, etc.)
